Smart Beamforming for direct LEO satellite access of future IoT

A scientific paper presentation that proposes a communication protocol allowing multiple IoT terminals to access a low-orbit satellite using beamforming techniques and a smart random access method. A MATLAB simulation illustrates the potential of this method. The presentation was given at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
